Info for Oral Presentations

Thank you for contributing to the International Normal Labour and Birth Research Conference (NLBRC) 2026. We are delighted to welcome you as an oral presenter and look forward to your contribution. This document provides important information to help
you prepare for your presentation.

Session Format

Oral presentations are grouped into themed sessions consisting of either:

  • three presentations (60-minute session) or
  • four presentations (80-minute session).

Each session will be chaired by an experienced chair, who will moderate the session, facilitate
the discussion, and ensure that the programme runs smoothly.

Each presenter has 15 minutes for their presentation, followed by 5 minutes for questions (Q&A). Please arrive in your allocated presentation room 10 minutes before the start of the session. We kindly ask you to keep your presentation within the allocated 15 minutes so that every presenter has equal speaking time and sufficient time remains for discussion. The session chair will act as the timekeeper and will give you a reminder as your presentation time draws to a close.

Presentation Submission
To ensure a smooth transition between presentations, all presentations will be uploaded to the conference system in advance. We therefore kindly ask you to submit your final presentation by Friday, 4 September 2026, 23:59 (CEST).
Please send your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF (.pdf) format to NLBRC@charite.de.

We kindly ask you to prepare your presentation according to accepted scientific standards. We recommend including the following sections where applicable:

• Title slide including authors‘ names and affiliations
• Introduction / Background
• Aim(s)/Research Question
• Methods
• Results
• Discussion
• Conclusion / Key Messages
• References

We look forward to welcoming you to Berlin and to an inspiring conference with engaging discussions and outstanding scientific contributions.

Thank you for helping make NLBC 2026 a success!
